Chuck and Jeff noted that lacrosse was started by North American Indians. It became popular in Canada and eventually in the United States. It is quite popular as a collegiate sport and is growing at the high school level, although it is not sanctioned by the A.I.A.

Thus the Chandler team participates as a club team, although the Wolves play several other large schools in Arizona. The Chandler team has won four titles in 13 years.

Lacrosse is played on a field similar to a football field. The goals are six feet by six feet. (A hockey goal is 6x4.) There are 10 players on a team: three attack players, three midfielders, three defensemen and a goalie.
