Rotary Peace Centers

Peter Kyle hails from New Zealand.  He received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Victoria University in Wellington, also, a Bachelor of Laws with Honours and is qualified to practice before the Supreme Court of New Zealand.  He was a partner in the law firm of Watts and Patterson.  Peter has served as Counsel with the Asian Development Bank in Manila.

Having served in many positions with the organization, he helped to shape what is today "Outward Bound International", their mission is to help people discover and develop their potential to care for themselves, others, and the world around them through challenging experiences in unfamiliar settings

Peter was inducted into the Rotary Club of Wellington North in 1976 and is today a member of the Rotary Club of Capitol Hill, Washington, DC.  He has served as a District Governor and has served on many R. I. and Rotary Foundation committees.  Among those, he has chaired the Rotary Peace Centers Committee for the past three years and chaired the Peace Symposium in Sao Paulo in 2015

In 2010 Peter was awarded the Rotary Foundation Global Alumni Service Award to Humanity and he received the Citation for Meritorious Service in 2015.

He and his wife have two children and one grandchild, they live on the West River, south of Annapolis Maryland.
