President, Valley of the Sun Chapter of the Little People of America

Edward L. Myers III has practiced disability law for 25 years.  After working as a law clerk for the Montana Supreme Court he worked for the Montana Advocacy Program now known as Disability Rights Montana as a Mental Health and Assistive Technology Attorney and the Arizona Center for Disability Law in similar positions.  He also worked as a Policy and Funding Specialist for the Arizona Technology Access Program and an adjunct Professor for Northern Arizona University teaching Disability Law in Education and Advanced Disability Law.  He recently retired after eight years as the Deputy Executive Director for the Arizona Center for Disability Law.   He has also been published in several journals and the Montana Law Review on disability and technology issues. Currently serves as the President of the Arizona Valley of the Sun Chapter of the Little People of America organization.

Rotary Peace Centers

Peter Kyle hails from New Zealand.  He received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Victoria University in Wellington, also, a Bachelor of Laws with Honours and is qualified to practice before the Supreme Court of New Zealand.  He was a partner in the law firm of Watts and Patterson.  Peter has served as Counsel with the Asian Development Bank in Manila.

Having served in many positions with the organization, he helped to shape what is today "Outward Bound International", their mission is to help people discover and develop their potential to care for themselves, others, and the world around them through challenging experiences in unfamiliar settings

Peter was inducted into the Rotary Club of Wellington North in 1976 and is today a member of the Rotary Club of Capitol Hill, Washington, DC.  He has served as a District Governor and has served on many R. I. and Rotary Foundation committees.  Among those, he has chaired the Rotary Peace Centers Committee for the past three years and chaired the Peace Symposium in Sao Paulo in 2015

In 2010 Peter was awarded the Rotary Foundation Global Alumni Service Award to Humanity and he received the Citation for Meritorious Service in 2015.

He and his wife have two children and one grandchild, they live on the West River, south of Annapolis Maryland.

Arizona Foundation for Women (click for more)

AFW works on creating a better life for Arizona’s women and children by focusing on Safety, Health, and Economics.  AFW’s efforts include research, such as the 2016 Status of Women in Arizona research report; advocacy and awareness through our She Talks!™ sessions; the Employers Against Domestic Violence program; ongoing activities around domestic violence issues and emerging efforts and activities around the sex trafficking of minors. Through a rigorous granting and evaluation process, AFW has awarded millions of dollars to the Arizona community since its founding in 1995.
